Information about Norwood Junction
Norwood Junction railway station is in South Norwood in the London Borough of Croydon in south London. It is in Travelcard Zone 4, and the station and most trains are operated by Southern, with a few trains (one train per hour off peak in both directions) operated by South Eastern Trains. There are plans to bring the East London Line service to the station.
There are 7 platforms at Norwood Junction but only 5 are in use today. Platform 1 provides services to London Bridge and London Victoria. Platform 2 shares the same track as Platform 1 so all services that stop at this platform only open their doors at Platform 1. This is why Platform 2 is now disused. Platform 3 is for faster services to London Bridge. Platform 4,5 and 6 are for services to Croydon and beyond. Platform 7 is now disused and it is likely that when the East London line reaches this station it will use this platform. The typical off-peak service from the station is as follows: Trains per Hour - tph
